From what I recall, I did not use a shaped cake pan for this one. I shaped it simply by carving a rectangular quarter sheet cake. Looking a a front-on picture of Thomas (which is pretty hard to find) I freehanded all of the decorations on this one. The icing was really thick, which is why the lines aren't completely straight. I was decorating this one at the last minute, so taking the time to thin out the icing again after I already started decorating wasn't really an option. I was sufficiently proud of this one for as little experience as I had at the time."Edible Creations Made to Your Specifications." I have been cooking and baking since I was about five years old. In high school, I got started with cake decorating while working for a frozen yogurt shop. I seemed to have a knack for it. Since then, I have made most of the cakes for my kids' birthdays and many friends. I do all sorts of baked goods, and I'll highlight some of the better ones here and tell you a little about them.
